She has her Associates degree in Small Business Management from MMC and enjoys working in the small town she grew up in. Together with her husband Lance, they are raising two beautiful daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities such as boating and hiking and also reading in her spare time.

Kelsey has been with Schumacher Insurance Agency since 2013. She graduated from Clare High School in 2006 and attended MMC, where she received her Associates Degree in General Studies. She has been a Gladwin County resident since 2005. Kelsey and her husband enjoy the outdoors and spending time with their son. She is very active in volunteering her time for special events in the community. Kelsey has enjoyed running from a young age, with that she helped create the Beaverton Firecracker 5k, an annual race since 2014.

Steve has been with the Schumacher Insurance Agency since 2010, after seven years in education. He feels like there are some similarities between the two with being able to connect with people as his main focus. He likes to give back to the community, participate in Rotary and coach his kids in community athletics. Steve graduated from SVSU and Ferris State. In his free time, Steve likes to travel with his family, listen to live music and venture to Northern Michigan.

Kaylyn was born and raised in Beaverton and has been with the Schumacher Agency since October of 2022. Kaylyn graduated from Beaverton High in 2017 and went on to study at MMC. She loves spending time with her family and prides herself on being the “Fun Aunt” to her nieces and nephews. Kaylyn’s family have been long time business owners in Beaverton so she is excited to be working and supporting the community she loves.

Spencer was born and raised in Beaverton. Basketball was a passion growing up and had the privilege to play for his grandfather, Roy Johnston throughout high school. He went on to play basketball in college at Mid-Michigan College where he continued his education. After 3 years at Mid, he finished his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Northwood University. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending much time in the outdoors. His goal is to give back and help out in the community as much as he can.

Tony was born and raised in Beaverton and started at Schumacher Insurance Agency in 2015. He graduated from Beaverton High School and then from Michigan State University with a BS in Food Industry Management. He has been in the insurance industry since 2008, as an Underwriter and Licensed Agent in Lansing, Traverse City, Chicago, and now Beaverton. He is the President of Beaverton Lions Club. Tony enjoys many outdoor activities including golf, boating, skiing, hunting and fishing, and attending Michigan State football and basketball games as much as possible.
